Reformer Pilates in Uptown Dallas

The most versatile piece in the studio, worked in a small, guided group.

Reformer at Classic Pilates in Uptown Dallas

Group Classes  ·  50-minute session  ·  All levels (beginners start with an intro private)

Invented by Joseph Pilates, the Reformer is a bed-like frame with a rolling carriage set against a system of springs. Those springs give you resistance and support at the same time, which is what makes the Reformer the most versatile piece in the studio. You can work lying down, seated, standing, kneeling, and everything in between, so a single session trains strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Our Reformer classes stay small so your instructor can watch your form and adjust the springs to your body, not the other way around.

What to expect

  • Small, guided group on the Reformer
  • Spring resistance scaled to your level
  • Builds core strength, length, and control
  • Better posture and efficient movement
  • Relief for many common physical imbalances
  • Classical Pilates sequencing throughout
